My personal recommendations for Commando loadouts are RLLLR/RRLLR AK + Med AR or RRLLR AK + SCAR. And lastly, the Stoner's ridiculously heavy weight prevents you from either carrying a useful sidearm (Deagle, Katana, etc.) or using the Med AR - one of Commando's best ARs which in many ways is an improved Stoner thanks to its higher damage/DPS, scrake stumble power, usability at long range, fast reload, and healing ability. The combination of low-damage bullets, poor iron sights, and the ridiculous fire rate which prevents tapfiring make the Stoner ineffective at long range (i.e., where Commando is supposed to shine.) The atrocious reload times puts a serious damper on your sustained DPS output. Lower DPS makes the Stoner much less effective against large Zeds and medium Zeds, especially combined with the recoil of sustained fire. ![]() Lower damage per shot means that the Stoner fails to hit the gorefiend 2-headshot and the stalker 1-bodyshot kill. The Stoner has several disadvantages over the SCAR. ![]()
